Guided Meditation Series

Class/Event Description

Starting May 5th, join Buddhist priest and mindfulness teacher, the Rev. Mike Travisano, each Friday at 8am for a guided meditation. Mike will offer a brief talk on a specific topic, followed by a guided meditation, with time at the end for discussion and/or questions about the practice. No experience necessary, and welcome to people from all faith traditions and backgrounds. Not required, but participants may want to bring a yoga mat or cushion to sit on. ๐—˜๐˜…๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ: Each session in this series is donation based. Participants are invited to donate whatever amount they wish at the studio before each session. Cash is preferred and the suggested donation is $10. โ€จ ๐—”๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ธ๐—ฒ! A practitioner of mindfulness for over twenty-five years, Mike is an active member of the clergy for the Blue Mountain Lotus Society, Dragonfly Sangha, leading weekly Buddhist meditation services every Monday evening at 6:30pm at Mount Calvary Episcopal Church in Camp Hill. Mike is also the founder and principal teacher for The Art of Monday Morning (, offering mindfulness instruction, coaching, and counseling to individuals and groups to reduce stress, improve performance, provide peace in challenging times, and find meaning.
